Agastache x hybrida ‘Globetrotter’ at Digging Dog
Lovers of heat, these tough and drought resistant Mint family relatives guarantee terminal spikes adorned with brightly colored, tubular flowers just about all summer long. Agastaches are easily grown in well drained soils, and will bloom more profusely, over an even longer period of time, if the flowering stems are cut back in midseason. Agastache x hybrida ‘Globetrotter’
Set off by dark purple calyxes, pretty pinkish lavender flowers crowd a multitude of plump, blunt-tipped, oblong blooms. Broad-toothed leaves, lighter on the flip side, line upright stems, providing a handsome, green-gray lift for the long lasting terminal blossoms. A tidy, structured accent whose coloring melds easily, the floriferous ‘Globetrotter’ can be combined with Nepeta ‘Kit Kat’, Salvia ‘Allen Chickering’ and Lavandula ‘Miss Katherine’ in a dry area or utilized in a glazed vessel where winters are cold.
Blooms June–September. Size: 2'–3' high x 18" wide; hardy to zone 7. Agastache x hybrida Globetrotter (P-1363) SOLD OUT!
