Tiarella

Foam Flower

This easy-to-grow, clump-forming evergreen is one of the finest spring flowering woodland perennials.

Tiarella ‘Iron Butterfly’ partial shade Tiarella Iron Butterfly

Unusually long, maple shaped leaves are cool mint green on the edges and deep purple-black in the middle. Curving stems host densely clustered pink buds and wisps of starlike ivory flowers.

En masse, as an understory or along the border, Foam Flower works well with Viburnum, Deutzia and Sambucus nigra ‘Madonna’.

Blooms April–July.

Size: 16" high x 11" wide; hardy to zone 4.

Customer Comment:

“I don't know how you folks do it, but the plants were in immaculate condition, cool and slightly damp upon arrival without a leaf out of place!  ...Digging Dog deserves high praise for being able to accomplish such a feat from one sizzling hot coast to another.”
